Aluminium Doors in Zimbabwe: 2026 Prices, Sizes and Full Buying Guide
Every door type we carry, with real USD prices, size charts, and honest advice to help you choose the right one for your home.
We have been supplying and installing aluminium doors across Harare and Bulawayo for years, and the number one question we get, before anything else, is: "how much does it cost?" This page answers that question in full. We have listed every door type we carry, complete with 2026 prices, sizes, glass options, and colour finishes, so that by the time you contact us you already know what you want and roughly what you will pay.
The Standard for Modern Zimbabwean Homes
Aluminium does not warp in the summer heat, rot during the rainy season, or need repainting every few years. It is the low-maintenance, long-lasting choice.
Maximum security
Paired with 6.38mm laminated safety glass and quality multi-point locks, our doors make forced entry significantly harder. The glass holds together on impact rather than shattering into entry points.
Weather resistant
Our frames will not warp in the Zimbabwean summer heat or swell during the rainy season. Zero maintenance, zero repainting. The colour finish is anodized or powder-coated into the profile, not painted on top of it.
Five colour options
Charcoal Grey, Black, Bronze, White, and Natural Anodized. Every finish is available across our full product range, so your door matches your home rather than being a compromise.
Built to your exact size
Every door we make is manufactured to order. We build to the specific dimensions of your opening, which means no filler strips, no awkward gaps, and no cutting down of stock sizes.
Professional installation
Our team handles the full installation. You do not need a separate contractor. We measure, manufacture, deliver, and install, then check every fitting before we leave.
12 to 24 month warranty
Select products carry a 12 to 24 month warranty on both the door and the installation. If something is not right after we leave, we come back and fix it. Terms and conditions apply.
Our Aluminium Door Catalog
Eight door types to cover every opening in a residential or commercial property. Every door is manufactured to your exact measurements.

Five Standard Colour Finishes
Every finish is anodized or powder-coated into the profile. It does not chip, peel, or need repainting. All five are available across our full product range.
Charcoal Grey
Our most popular finish. Works with almost every exterior colour and architectural style.
Black
Bold contrast against light walls. Makes a strong visual statement on pivot and folding doors.
Bronze
Warm, brown-toned finish. Suits older brick homes, colonial-style architecture, and terracotta colour schemes.
White
Works well on interior doors and homes with light exterior finishes. Clean and unobtrusive.
Natural Anodized
Raw aluminium look with a clear protective finish. Mid-tone silver that suits contemporary and commercial settings.
Ordinary Glass vs 6.38mm Laminated Safety Glass
Most of our prices come with two glass options. Here is what the difference actually means and when each one makes sense.
Ordinary glass
Standard float glass. Clear, affordable, and perfectly adequate for low-traffic areas and openings where breakage is unlikely. When it breaks, it breaks into large sharp shards.
Good choice for: utility doors, back access doors, low-traffic areas where you want to keep costs down.
6.38mm laminated safety glass
Two sheets of glass bonded together with a PVB interlayer. When broken, the interlayer holds the fragments together in a web pattern instead of allowing shards to fall. The panel stays largely in place, which means no sharp edges on your floor and no clean entry point for an intruder.
At 6.38mm this glass is heavy, substantially quieter than ordinary glass, and significantly harder to punch through cleanly. The price difference is $30 on most standard sizes.
Good choice for: main entry doors, lounge-to-garden sliders, any door near a pool, doors within reach of children, and any opening you use daily.
Patio Slider vs Galaxy Slider
This is the question we get asked most often after price. Here is a straightforward breakdown so you can decide without calling us first.
| Feature | Patio Slider | Galaxy Slider |
|---|---|---|
| Profile thickness | Standard | Heavy-duty |
| Frame feel | Lighter | Noticeably heavier and more solid |
| Glass standard | Ordinary or safety glass | 6.38mm laminated safety glass only |
| Lock quality | Standard lock | Stronger multi-point interlocker |
| Starting price | $340 | $700 |
| Maximum width | Up to 4m | 5m and above with sidelights |
| Best suited to | Standard homes, 1.5m to 2.4m openings | Executive homes, 3m+ openings |
Which Door Is Right for Your Space
Not sure which door type fits your situation? These are the most common scenarios and what we recommend for each.
Standard patio slider
Affordable, proven, and perfect for the standard Zimbabwe home. Choose 6.38mm laminated safety glass and it will serve you well for a decade or more.
Galaxy slider or folding door
Galaxy with sidelights if you want a fixed, polished look. Folding door if you want to fully open the wall when entertaining. Both work, the choice is about how much you want the wall to disappear.
Single hinged door
The standard and sensible choice at 800mm x 2.1m. If ventilation matters, consider a stable door that opens in two halves independently.
Pivot door or single hinged
Pivot if you want a statement entrance. Single hinged with 6.38mm laminated safety glass and a quality lock if you want a straightforward, secure, single front door.
Double French doors
Classic, symmetrical, and formal. Opens wide from the centre and frames the space on both sides when closed. The right choice for a dining room entry that needs to feel considered.
Barn sliding door
No swing clearance needed. The exposed track hardware is a design feature rather than a compromise. Practical for interior spaces where a standard door eats into usable floor area.
How to Measure Your Door Opening
We measure every job ourselves before manufacturing begins, but knowing your approximate size helps us give you an accurate quote faster.
Measure the width
Measure the inside of the existing frame from wall to wall at the widest point. If there is no frame yet, measure the raw brick opening itself.
Measure the height
Measure from the floor to the underside of the lintel, not to the ceiling. Most standard openings in Zimbabwean homes are 2.1m high, but older properties vary.
Send us a photo
A clear photo of the current door and frame tells us a great deal about the configuration and what the new door needs to match. A photo plus approximate measurements is enough for a free quote.
Or book a site visit
We charge $10 for a professional site measurement. If you confirm your order, that fee is deducted from the total. If you send us your own measurements or a photo, the quote is free.

Frequently Asked Questions
The questions we get asked most often, answered in full.
How much does an aluminium sliding door cost in Zimbabwe?
A standard patio sliding door starts at $340 for an opening up to 2m wide with ordinary glass. With 6.38mm laminated safety glass the same size is $370. For wider openings and premium Galaxy profiles, prices range from $700 to $1,000 and above depending on width and configuration. All prices on this page include professional installation in Harare.
What is the cheapest aluminium door available?
Our barn sliding doors start from $300 and our standard single hinged and stable doors start from $340. These are quality aluminium products at the entry end of our price range. All prices include installation in Harare.
How much do aluminium kitchen doors cost in Zimbabwe?
A standard single hinged aluminium kitchen door is $340 with ordinary glass or $370 with 6.38mm laminated safety glass. Both are 790mm to 800mm wide at 2.1m high, which fits almost every standard kitchen back door frame in Zimbabwe. If ventilation matters to you, a stable door that opens in two halves independently also starts from $340.
What is the price of a double hinged aluminium door in Zimbabwe?
Our double French doors (two hinged panels opening from the centre) are priced at $450 for widths from 1.2m to 1.4m, and $550 for widths from 1.5m to 2.0m. Both are manufactured at 2.1m high and include professional installation in Harare.
What is the difference between the Patio and Galaxy sliding doors?
Both are quality aluminium sliding doors but the Galaxy range uses heavier profiles, stronger hardware, and comes with 6.38mm laminated safety glass as standard. The Patio slider is the practical choice for most standard Zimbabwean homes with openings up to 2.4m wide. The Galaxy is the right choice for larger openings above 3m and for homes where the door needs to look as substantial as it functions. See the comparison table on this page for a full side-by-side breakdown.
Do you make custom sizes?
Yes. Every door we manufacture is built to order, which means we work to the specific dimensions of your opening rather than cutting down a standard size. If your opening is non-standard, send us the measurements or a photo and we will quote accordingly at no charge.
What colour finishes are available?
We offer five standard finishes: Charcoal Grey, Black, Bronze, White, and Natural Anodized (Silver). Charcoal Grey is our most popular choice for modern Harare homes. All five finishes are available across the full product range and none of them require repainting as they are anodized or powder-coated into the aluminium profile itself.
How long does it take to get my doors installed?
For a standard order of one to three doors, manufacturing takes two to three working days. Installation is then scheduled at the earliest available date. Total turnaround from confirmed order to installed door is typically under a week for standard sizes and configurations.
Do your prices include installation?
Yes. All prices on this page include supply and professional installation in Harare. For customers outside Harare, transport charges apply and are quoted separately based on location. For nationwide supply-only orders (Mutare, Gweru, Masvingo, and other cities), customers collect from our workshop or arrange their own transport, and pricing reflects that accordingly.
Do you supply and install in Bulawayo?
Yes. We install directly in Bulawayo with transport charges added to the order. The transport cost depends on the size and weight of the order and your specific location in Bulawayo. Contact us with your requirements and we will give you a Bulawayo-inclusive price.
How do I get a quote?
Send us your measurements or a clear photo of the opening via WhatsApp or our quote form and we will respond with pricing at no charge. If you would prefer us to visit the site and measure ourselves, we charge $10 for the site visit, which is deducted from your total if you confirm the order.
What warranty do you offer?
We offer a 12 to 24 month warranty on select products and installations. Terms and conditions apply. Speak to us at the time of order for specific warranty coverage on the product you are considering. If something is not right after installation, we come back and fix it.
Ready to Get a Price for Your Project?
