This is a bonded interlayer glass — the same specification used in car windscreens — that holds together even if it cracks rather than shattering into sharp pieces. We made this our baseline years ago because of how much safer it is in a bathroom environment, particularly in homes with children. We do not use ordinary glass or single-pane glass in any of our cubicles.

Yes, and this is actually the norm rather than the exception. Because we fabricate everything in our own workshop in Harare, we are not tied to catalogue dimensions. Most of our orders are custom-made to the exact measurements of the customer's space. Whether your bathroom is unusually narrow, has an angled wall, or requires an odd configuration, we work to your measurements at no extra charge for most sizes.

Our standard range covers shower cubicles from 800mm x 800mm up to 1200mm x 1200mm, including popular sizes like 900mm x 900mm and 1000mm x 1000mm. We also stock a 1200mm x 900mm rectangular option. These are available for faster turnaround. If your space falls outside these dimensions, we fabricate to your measurements.

A framed shower cubicle has aluminium profiles running along all the glass edges, forming the visible structure. This is the more traditional style, costs less, and is very durable. A frameless cubicle uses thicker glass with minimal or concealed fittings to achieve a clean, open look with no visible frame around the panels. Frameless models tend to suit modern bathroom designs and make smaller bathrooms feel more open. Both use 6.38mm laminated safety glass.

Our standard frame finishes are silver (brushed chrome), matt black, bronze, and charcoal grey. Silver is the most popular and is included in the base price. Black, bronze, and charcoal carry a small price adjustment. For larger orders, we can also discuss custom powder coat colours.

We offer clear, frosted, grey tint, and milky white glass on our shower cubicles. Clear is the most common choice and lets the most light through. Frosted and milky white provide privacy without blocking light entirely. Grey tint gives a contemporary look and reduces glare. All finishes are available in 6.38mm laminated safety glass.

Yes. Open walk-in configurations with fixed glass panels and no door are available. These work well in larger bathroom spaces and are a popular choice in renovations where a frameless, open feel is the priority. The most common layout uses one or two fixed panels with a deliberate open entry gap. We will advise on minimum dimensions based on your space.

For a square or rectangular cubicle, we need the width and depth of the shower area at floor level, plus the height from floor to ceiling or to the level you want the glass to reach. In most cases, we can fabricate cubicles down to 750mm x 750mm, though 800mm x 800mm is the practical minimum for comfortable daily use. Anything smaller than 750mm x 750mm is generally too restrictive for a functioning shower. We will flag any sizing concerns when you send us your measurements.

Shower cubicles can be fitted with sliding doors, single hinged doors, bi-fold doors, or pivot doors depending on your layout and preference. Sliding doors are the most common and work well in tight spaces. Hinged doors require clear swing space in front. Bi-fold doors fold inward and are a good middle ground. Pivot doors add a more premium feel and suit wider openings.

This depends on the tray's dimensions and whether the new cubicle's measurements can be matched to it. If you have an existing tray, send us the exact dimensions and we can advise on compatibility. In most cases, a new custom-made cubicle can be built to fit the tray rather than the other way round.

Yes. Corner cubicles that fit into a right-angle corner of the bathroom are one of our most popular configurations. These typically use two glass panels meeting at 90 degrees, with a hinged or sliding door on one side. They make good use of corner space and are available in both framed and frameless styles.

A shower cubicle is a complete enclosure — it includes the glass panels on all sides as well as the door, forming a self-contained unit. A shower door is just the door component, fitted into an existing alcove or recess where the walls on either side are tiled. If your shower area is built into a tiled alcove, you typically need a shower door. If the area is open on two or more sides, you need a full cubicle.

We make hinged shower doors, sliding shower doors, bi-fold shower doors, and pivot shower doors. Hinged doors open outward or inward on a fixed hinge and are the most common. Sliding doors run along a track and are ideal where swing space is limited. Bi-fold doors fold in half to open. Pivot doors rotate on a centre or off-centre axis for a more architectural look.

Our shower doors are available from 600mm to 1200mm wide. Most standard alcoves fall between 700mm and 900mm wide. We also fabricate to custom widths if your alcove falls outside this range.

Yes, this is one of the most common jobs we do. If you have a tiled shower alcove without a door, we measure the opening and fabricate a door to fit. Yes. Frameless shower doors use thicker glass panels and concealed hardware with no visible frame around the glass. They suit modern bathroom designs and work well in minimalist spaces. They cost a little more than framed alternatives but create a cleaner visual.

Sometimes, yes. It depends on whether the existing frame and track are in good condition and whether a replacement door can be cut to match the opening. If the frame is damaged or no longer sealed properly, replacing the full cubicle is usually the more practical option. Send us photos and measurements and we will advise.

A bi-fold shower door is hinged in the middle so it folds in half when opened, rather than swinging out as a single panel. This means it takes up much less space in front of the shower when opening, making it ideal for bathrooms where clearance in front of the shower is limited. It is a good option where a standard hinged door would hit the toilet or vanity when opened.

It depends on your bathroom layout. A sliding door is better where space in front of the shower is limited, because it does not require any swing clearance — the door simply slides along the opening. A hinged door gives a cleaner look with no track at the top or bottom, and is easier to seal properly against water ingress. If space allows, hinged is often the preferred choice for both appearance and long-term performance.

A patio sliding door is a large aluminium-framed sliding door, typically used for access between a living area and a garden, patio, or balcony. It runs on a bottom track and glides horizontally along the opening. Patio doors can span wide openings that a hinged door cannot cover, and they work well for bringing natural light into a space.

The Galaxy is a specific sliding door system we offer that uses a top-hung track mechanism, meaning the door hangs from a rail above rather than running on a bottom track. This gives a cleaner floor finish with no exposed bottom rail to step over. Galaxy doors are popular for modern interiors and also work well as room dividers.

A pivot door rotates on a pivot point at the top and bottom of the door rather than on traditional side-mounted hinges. The pivot can be placed at the centre of the door or offset toward one edge. Pivot doors allow for very wide, dramatic door openings that would be impractical with a standard hinge, and they are a popular feature in high-end residential and commercial entrances.

A bi-fold or folding door is made up of multiple panels connected by hinges that fold against each other like a concertina when opened. This allows a very wide opening to be created while the folded panels stack neatly to one side. Bi-fold doors are commonly used for wide openings connecting indoor and outdoor spaces, or as room dividers that can be fully opened.

A single hinged door has one leaf that opens on a set of hinges fixed to one side of the frame. A double hinged door has two leaves that each open from the centre, meeting in the middle when closed. Double doors are used for wider openings — typically anything over 1000mm wide — and are common for entrances, shopfronts, and connecting corridors.

Aluminium door frames are powder-coated and available in a wide range of colours. Our standard options include white, silver, dark bronze, charcoal, and black. Custom colours are available on request for larger orders. The powder coat finish is durable and designed to hold colour without fading under UV exposure.

Yes. Our aluminium doors can include glass panels of various configurations — full-length glass, half-glass, or decorative inserts. Glass partitions maintain visual connectivity across a space — light passes through and the office does not feel divided or enclosed. They can be relocated when a floor plan changes, which drywall cannot. They also require no plastering, painting, or skirting, which typically makes installation faster. The trade-off is that glass partitions offer less acoustic privacy than a solid wall, though this can be improved with laminated or acoustic glass.

Yes. Aluminium doors can be integrated into any partition system we install. We can fit single or double hinged doors, sliding doors, or frameless glass doors as part of the partition design. The door frame is matched to the partition frame for a consistent finish.

Glass partitions reduce sound transmission but are not fully soundproof in the way that a solid wall is. Standard 6.38mm laminated safety glass reduces noise significantly compared to single-pane glass and will handle most office conversations. For boardrooms or spaces that require a higher degree of acoustic privacy, we can specify thicker laminated glass or double-glazed partition panels.

We install floor-to-ceiling partition systems up to approximately 3.2 metres high. For higher ceilings, we assess on a case-by-case basis as the engineering requirements change. Partial-height partitions — for example, 1.2m or 1.5m high — are also available and are popular for creating visual separation without full enclosure.

We offer clear, frosted, and grey tint glass in our partition systems. Frosted glass is popular for private offices and meeting rooms. Clear glass suits collaborative areas where visibility is a priority. We can also apply privacy film or manifestation graphics to clear glass after installation, giving you the option to change the level of privacy later.

The aluminium-framed systems we install can be dismantled and relocated if your office layout changes, unlike drywall partitions. The glass panels and frames are designed to be removable. This makes glass partitions a good long-term investment for growing businesses that may need to reconfigure their space.

A single-room partition covering around 10 to 15 linear metres typically takes one working day to install. Larger open-plan partition projects will take longer depending on the scope. We will give you a time estimate once we have assessed the space.

Yes. We cut mirrors to any rectangular or square dimension you specify, as well as some non-standard shapes including L-shapes and strips. If you have a specific space to fill, give us the dimensions and we will cut to fit.

We work with 4mm and 6mm mirror glass. Four-millimetre mirror is suitable for most standard wall applications. Six-millimetre mirror is heavier and more rigid, which makes it better suited to large format mirrors that span a significant area, or commercial installations where durability is a priority.

Yes. The mirrors we supply for bathrooms use a silver backing with a protective coating that resists the effects of moisture and humidity. This prevents the black edge deterioration — known as "silvering" — that occurs on unprotected mirrors in damp environments over time.

We install mirrors using a combination of mirror adhesive and concealed mirror clips or fixing channels depending on the size and weight of the mirror. We do not drill through the mirror face itself. Large format mirrors may also use a french cleat or structural backing for additional support. Our installation team handles the full fitting.

Yes. Frameless mirrors with polished or flat-cut edges are a popular option and give a clean, modern look. Alternatively, we can fit mirrors within an aluminium frame in a finish to match other features in the space.

The maximum size is limited by the dimensions of the glass sheet we can source, which is typically up to 2400mm x 3200mm for standard float glass. For very large mirror installations, we can join multiple mirror panels with a hairline joint, which is barely visible from a normal viewing distance.

Yes. Large-format mirror walls for gyms, hair salons, dance studios, and other commercial spaces are something we do regularly. Laminated safety glass is made by bonding two sheets of glass together with a clear interlayer — typically polyvinyl butyral (PVB). The 6.38mm specification means the combined thickness of both glass sheets and the interlayer is 6.38 millimetres. When this glass cracks, the interlayer holds the pieces together rather than allowing them to scatter. This is the same technology used in car windscreens and is significantly safer than standard float glass in any application where people are nearby.

Ordinary float glass shatters into sharp shards when broken, which is a serious injury risk in a bathroom or any occupied space. Laminated glass holds together when cracked, which means a broken panel stays in place rather than falling onto the person below or beside it. We made this our standard across all products because of the genuine safety difference it makes, particularly in homes with children and in commercial spaces.

We work with glass from 4mm (for mirrors and light partitioning) through 6mm, 6.38mm laminated (our standard for shower and door products), 8mm, and 10mm. Thicker glass is used for frameless applications where the glass carries more of the structural load, or for higher-security requirements.

Clear glass is fully transparent and lets through the most light. Frosted glass is acid-etched or sandblasted on one surface to create a translucent, diffused appearance that provides privacy while still allowing light. Grey tint glass has a built-in colour that reduces glare and solar heat gain while still being fully transparent. Milky white glass is opaque, allowing light through but blocking any view, and is the most private of the four options.

The glass we use is imported. Locally manufactured glass of the specification and consistency we require for safety-critical applications is not reliably available in Zimbabwe. We source from established suppliers to ensure consistent quality and thickness across every product we make.

Manifestation is a vinyl film applied to the surface of glass panels, typically in patterns, frosting effects, or branding graphics. It serves two purposes: it makes large clear glass panels more visible to people walking through an office, reducing the risk of someone walking into the glass, and it can add privacy or branding to a partition. It can be removed or changed without replacing the glass.

We do not run a formal payment plan, but for larger projects we are open to a deposit arrangement where a portion is paid upfront and the balance on completion. This is discussed case by case. Contact us with your project scope and we can work something out.

The price difference almost always comes down to the glass specification. Products using ordinary float glass or thinner glass will cost less upfront but carry a higher safety risk if broken. Our 6.38mm laminated safety glass is a more expensive material that offers significantly better protection. The price also includes professional installation, which is not always factored into competitor quotes.

A standard shower cubicle or shower door installation typically takes between two and four hours. Larger or more complex configurations — such as a double sliding door system or a full room partition — can take a full day. We will give you a realistic time estimate when confirming your installation date.

For standard sizes we stock, installation is usually within three to five working days of confirming your order. For custom-fabricated products, allow five to ten working days depending on our current production schedule. We give you a clear expected date when you place the order, and we keep you updated if anything changes.

Yes. We serve Bulawayo, Mutare, Gweru, Masvingo, Kwekwe, Kadoma, Chinhoyi, and other cities. A delivery and installation charge applies and varies based on distance. Contact us with your location and project details and we will quote the full delivered cost.

For shower cubicles and shower doors, the bathroom should be fully tiled before we install, as we work on finished surfaces. The installation area should be clear and accessible. If you have an existing cubicle or door to remove, let us know in advance — we can discuss whether this is something we handle as part of the job.

In some cases yes. If you need an old cubicle removed before we fit the new one, let us know when placing your order. We will advise whether it is something we include or whether there is a small additional charge depending on the complexity of the removal.

Yes. A significant part of our work is commercial. We install shower cubicles, aluminium doors, windows, and office partitions in office buildings, hotels, clinics, schools, retail spaces, and other commercial properties across Harare. We can work alongside your contractor or directly with your property team.

Yes for most buildings. We carry out installations on upper floors regularly. For very high floors or buildings without lift access, there may be a handling surcharge for moving heavy glass. We assess this on enquiry.

All products we supply and install carry a 24-month guarantee. If anything fails within that period as a result of a manufacturing or installation fault, we come back and fix it at no charge. This applies to the glass panels, the frames, and the hardware including hinges, handles, and rollers.

The guarantee covers faults that are the result of how the product was made or installed. This includes delamination of the glass, failure of seals or joints we applied, cracking or distortion of frames under normal conditions, and malfunction of hinges, rollers, or locking hardware. If something fails because of how the product was put together, we fix it.

The guarantee does not cover damage caused by impact, misuse, or modifications made by someone other than our team. It also does not cover the natural wear of rubber seals and silicone over time — these are consumable parts that may need replacing after two to four years depending on usage and cleaning habits. Damage from chemical cleaners or abrasive products used on the glass or frame is also not covered.

Contact us by WhatsApp or phone, describe the issue, and send a photo if possible. We will assess whether it falls within the guarantee and arrange a return visit. We aim to resolve warranty issues quickly because we know how disruptive a faulty shower or door can be.

A squeegee used after each shower makes the biggest difference in preventing water mark buildup. For regular cleaning, a mild bathroom spray and a soft cloth are all you need. For stubborn water marks or calcium deposits, a diluted white vinegar solution works well. Avoid abrasive scrubbing pads, bleach, and acid-based cleaners on both the glass and the aluminium frame.

Wipe aluminium frames down periodically with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid bleach or strong chemical cleaners as these can discolour or damage the powder coat finish over time. For sliding doors and windows, clean the track regularly to prevent grit buildup that can wear the rollers. A light application of silicone spray on the rollers and hinges every six months keeps moving parts operating smoothly.

The rubber seals along the bottom and sides of shower doors and cubicle panels will show signs of wear when they start to split, harden, or pull away from the glass. You may also notice water escaping through a gap that was previously sealed. Replacement seals are standard parts we stock.
